Interview with Bowmengame Developers Team by Nilesh

Hi Guys,
This is Nilesh (Video Game Journalist, Hard Core Gamer).
Here we have Bowmen game developer Team "Ramesh VJ (Designer), Satyadev V V (Programming Lead), Naveen and Siva (Programmers) "

Here we go....

1. Why Bowmen ?

There are wide variate of games in gaming world like superman, spider man, batman, blah.. blah... But we wanted to create a unique identification among them. So we created The Bowmen - Game.

2. How much time  & the difficulties you faced ?

Since this was our first 3D game we used the best resources possible to build it and in this process it took us around 9 months to get the game done from development to production, The major problem we faced was with in game Artificial Intelligence.   

3. What tools did you use to built it ?

We actually used a wide variety of tools such as Unity Engine, RAIN for AI, a few of the characters and sets were taken through Unity Asset Store to build this epic game.

4. Where you want to take your company & gaming industry ?

As you know we are very much lacking in the gaming industry right now, so in order to improve that we need to create proper gaming eco system so that we can build a community filled with a variety of hardcore gamers, designers and programmers. So to do this we have started  Group4Games where we organise meetups , gamethons and many other fun and knowledge full things by which people we can learn a lot and stay motivated..

5. Why does India lack so much in gaming when compare to other countries ?

Mostly because most of them cant access the new softwares because of there heavy pricing , no proper medium to learn from and mainly since we are unaware of  Advanced hardware like PS4, XBox, Oculus VR, Samsung Gear VR, Google CardBoards etc which are the trend right now.  

6. What is your major focus areas ?

That would definitely be MMORPG games. to be more specific you could  say something like multiplayer kind of games with VR support.

7. What are you looking to do as a gaming company ?  

We need to build AAA Quality Games to set standards and entertain our Gamers around the world with the absolute best of our ability.
